Since 1963, Heuschen & Schrouff has been bringing the authentic flavors of Asia to Europe. The Limburg-based company wanted to offer its impressive range of over 5,000 products online more effectively to B2B customers. With help from delaware and the implementation of SAP Commerce Cloud, Heuschen & Schrouff now has a brand-new webshop showing up-to-date prices and inventory.

Too time-consuming and prone to errors

“Ten years ago we were a pioneer in our sector by launching a webshop for our B2B customers,” says Roger Stoffelen, Director Business Unit Ethnic at Heuschen & Schrouff. But that webshop still had considerable challenges. “For example, the site did not display current inventory or prices” Stoffelen continues. “We were also still receiving many orders through other channels, meaning we had to enter those orders into our system manually. That took too much time and was too error prone. That’s why we wanted to strengthen our e-commerce platform and make it future-proof.”

SAP Commerce Cloud

By implementing SAP Commerce Cloud, delaware succeeded in designing a new webshop and connecting it to SAP S/4HANA. “As a result, prices and inventory are continuously refreshed on the site,” says Stoffelen. “The webshop also has a fresh, new design. Orders now arrive automatically, which gives us more time to build more personal contact with our customers. For years, delaware has been our SAP partner—and we are once again very satisfied with this project.
