The Connect & Security team at delaware is on the lookout for a hybrid Network Consultant, for both Azure cloud and on-premise networking.

As Hybrid Network Consultant, you will be responsible for the full ITSM stack & project work:

Troubleshoot: whenever an incident occurs with one of our customers, you are the one to respond and handle it.
Executing configuration changes: if a service request is made, you make sure that the job gets done.
Implementation: During project phase you will roll out solutions on premises and/or in the cloud based on Infrastructure as Code
Follow up and management of the ticketing queue.

Our managed services organization provides global services to over 350 customers, with a global team of 300+ service professionals worldwide. We deliver Application (AMS) and Technical Managed Services (IMS) for SAP, Microsoft, and Salesforce for international and local clients.

You are located in Belgium and are in possession of driver’s license.
You excel as a communicator, possessing fluency in both English and either Dutch or French.
Have 0 to 5 years of experience as a network engineer.
- Interested Cloud Azure networking.
- AWS networking knowledge is a plus.
- Ready to explore also one of the following technologies: AWS networking, Cisco (switching / Firewalls / Wireless controller / Wireless access points), Meraki, Fortinet or Checkpoint.
- An Azure certification is a plus.
- A first experience with infra-as-code (bicep, terraform and/or ansible) can be useful.
An instinct for consultancy: you’re open to developing the necessary communication skills to connect with and guide business stakeholders and clients.
Flexible as there will be weekend and outside of business hours interventions on production environments.
Motivation to learn and eager to take on new challenges.
A pragmatic approach to balance business needs with compliance requirements.
You can think along with customers and propose new solutions that can be integrated into their environment.
You have exemplary organizational and interpersonal skills. You are able to manage both customers and colleagues perfectly.

As a Junior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll take on the role of technical consultant, meaning that you’ll be supporting our projects from start to finish, from analysis to implementation and support.
