When you hear the word networking, you immediately start thinking about routers, firewalls and switches. But as we’re working more and more in the cloud, you’ll be expanding your Azure knowledge as well. Your eagerness to learn knows no bounds and will come in handy in your journey as a Hybrid Network Engineer.

Flexible? That’s your middle name! You’re fine with working outside of business hours or coming to a customer’s aid when an issue arises. It doesn’t matter to you where you work, as long as you get the job done.

Who are we?

We are the Connect & Secure team, as an SAP Partner Center of Expertise (PCOE) and Microsoft Azure Managed Service Provider (MSP), we have mixed competences of SAP Technical Consultants (SAP Basis) , Technical Infrastructure Consultants and Service Delivery Managers. We design, build, implement and support the business critical infrastructure needed to run our clients’ core applications. In doing this we have a cloud first focus where Azure IaaS is our most important platform for bringing solutions to the market.

Just so you know: delaware has its offices in Antwerp, Ghent, Kortrijk, Lummen, Liège, Wavre and Luxemburg, but we also spend a lot of time working together with our customers on-site our working from home.

Is there a match?

In short, you’ll be responsible for the full ITSM stack. Whenever an incident occurs with one of our customers, you are the one to respond to it and deal with it. Also, if a service request is made, you make sure that the job gets done.

Next to that, you’ll also do some trouble shooting whenever a problem arises while you’re not shy of executing some configuration changes. Finally, we may also call on your architectural skills when a solution has to be modified to suit a client as if it were tailor-made.

Let’s see. If you…

•   have 3 to 5 years of experience as a network engineer.
•   know your way around at least one of these technologies: Cisco, Checkpoint or Fortinet. Knowing them all would be fantastic, but we’re happy with just one as well.
•   have one or more of the following certificates: Cisco CCNA, Azure AZ-305, AZ-700, AZ-104.
•   have basic knowledge of Azure networking. Don’t worry, we’re not looking for an expert. Instead, we’ll train you to be one.
•   are flexible and customer-focussed.
•   are fluent in English, both spoken and written. Dutch and French skills are good to have as well.

DevOps Engineer Microsoft Azure

You combine your passion to create cloud solutions with the hands-on and flexible attitude to advise on and realize business projects. As a mature, technically skilled DevOps engineer, you have the technological and commercial insight to put yourself in the shoes of the customer, understand their reality and translate Azure architectures into a working Microsoft Azure environment.

You are ambitious and eager to take on a varied range of projects, during which you will work together with development teams to set up, improve and maintain CI/CD and development processes. You are keen on growing and diversifying your DevOps engineering skills while working mostly autonomously on your projects. You are committed to expand your knowledge by staying up-to-date on the latest technologies in your field and mentoring your less-experienced colleagues to help our team grow further.

SAP Basis Consultant

The SAP Basis team at delaware is on the lookout for a Senior SAP Basis Consultant who will be directly involved in building SAP technologies and develop the processes to continually operate, innovate, and grow; someone with a deep knowledge of systems administration and technical architecture, as well as a proven track record and experience with SAP HANA and related technologies.
Relying on your extensive experience in the world of SAP solutions, you will play a key role in building the customer’s technology roadmap while working closely with our infrastructure and functional teams. You will be the go-to person who guides our customers when it comes to deciding what SAP technical architecture to follow.
The design, development, and support of our SAP solutions include the following:
-   Performing complete upgrades, migrations, SAP landscape installations and technical change management projects in close collaboration with our clients.
-   Completing project lifecycles: from initial set-ups to solution delivery and support.
-   Working with clients to analyze their needs: preparation and participation in workshops, including documentation.
-   Using innovative solutions in old and new SAP landscapes (cloud solutions, SAP HANA, SSO, mobile devices, etc).
-   Leading projects by discovering different solutions and taking on more responsibility as you progress in your career.

As a Senior SAP Basis Consultant, we expect you to follow all the latest trends in IT and use these insights to take your deliverables to the next level.

SAP security Architect

As SAP Security Architect, you will be architecting, designing, implementing and governing the SAP security framework for business process transformation programs.

Develop and maintain concepts and procedures for the SAP Security (Fiori, Application and HANA) and user access controls for all SAP instances.
Perform SAP security audits & advise customers on the way forward towards enhanced SAP security & Segregation of Duties.
Manage SAP security implementation projects.
Design the business blueprint through workshops with business and compliance stakeholders.
Define functional specifications for the SAP security role development team.
Develop centralized process for SAP security role administration.
Evaluate business risks associated with security role design, implement appropriate controls to address those risks and provide recommendations on ways to simplify and streamline the security design.
Develop the GRC rule sets (SOD), workflows and approvers for user provisioning /de-provisioning, authentication/authorization/emergency access and access recertification based on business needs, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
