As an MES solution architect, you will be joining our Manufacturing team, that advises companies on how to optimize their production environment and shopfloor activities. You will for example help companies to automate their factory using robotics or other technology. This is a growing practice within delaware, with lots of opportunities for you to shine in projects!  

Just so you know: delaware has its offices in Antwerp, Ghent, Kortrijk, Lummen, Liège and Wavre, but we also spend a lot of time working together with our customers on-site.

What you will be doing?

You’ll have quite a diverse to-do list, if you ask us:

 

As an MES solution architect, you’ll visualize and map the customer’s production processes and discover where optimization opportunities arise.

You will architect the best possible solution for the customer's current and future needs, taking the customer's existing IT landscape into account and complementing this with additional commercial or specific low-code applications.

You will maintain the architect role during the entire implementation stage of the project, work with internal and external implementation teams and align with the customer to adapt concepts or flows where needed.

During the entire project, you’ll make sure to keep an eye on the strategic focus points of the customer’s manufacturing department and guide them on their Industry 4.0 roadmap

Is there a match?

Do you have more than 4 years of experience in MES? To us, this means that you already took the lead in a typical MES project, either as a solution provider or in a manufacturing process engineering role.

Business knowledge on production processes is a definite must. Are you familiar with Lean and QRM concepts and have a clear vision on how to run and optimize production processes, making use of broader business and IT knowledge in logistical processes (e.g. WMS/ASRS systems)?

Are you able to listen to the customer’s needs, identify the business requirements, design the solution and communicate it to your team?

Do you have experience with writing functional specifications for software development?

Speaking of communication: Can you express yourself fluently in Dutch and English?
