As a management consultant specialized in warehousing, inventory and/or transportation, you will be joining our Logistics management team. You will advise our customers and help them to automate their warehouse, execute performance scans and define gaps and opportunities in terms of processes, organization & systems to get to a roadmap for implementation. This is a growing practice within delaware, with lots of opportunities for you to shine in projects! 

Just so you know: delaware has its offices in Antwerp, Ghent, Kortrijk, Lummen, Liège and Wavre, but we also spend a lot of time working together with our customers on-site.

What will you be doing?

  • You will assess the current performance of the customer’s warehouse, inventory and transportation processes and provide input during strategy meetings
  • You will advise on how to improve the logistic processes, and show the customer the potential of automation and digitization;
  • You’ll provide answers to the customer’s business challenges by proposing some organizational changes;
  • You will initiate, execute and follow up on the proposed improvement roadmap
  • At delaware, you will play an active role in the management consulting community by sharing your knowledge and connecting with the technology teams;
  • You will provide assistance during pre-sales meetings and business development;
  • You will coach your junior colleagues

Is there a match?

Let’s see. If you…

  • have obtained a master’s degree or have gained equivalent experience;
  • have several years of experience in a warehouse, inventory and/or transportation context, as a business analyst, process engineer, warehouse or transportation manager, or specialized consultant;
  • have a good understanding of the IT side of warehousing, inventory and/or transportation (we’re an IT consultancy after all, and the strategic changes you suggest may be underpinned by IT tools);
  • can rely on strong analytical skills that help you structure complex challenges and solid decision-making skills to help the customer through their business transformation
  • are a result-driven professional who takes ownership of their work
  • are able to get your point across in English and Dutch or French;
  • are incredibly eager to provide answers to a customer’s strategic challenges regarding their logistic processes
