Although delaware has built up a rock-solid reputation as an IT implementation partner, technology is only part of the story of a digital transformation. To write these remaining chapters, our Management Consulting division helps our customers’ senior management to transform beyond technology.
 
You’ll be part of a new and exciting area within delaware that focuses on this connected transformation. On top of our existing technical expertise, you’ll help us to bring business knowledge and strategic thinking to our clients.

Who are we?

We are a part of the Management Consulting department, together with other teams such as the Finance & Performance Management Team. It’s our ambition to establish new practices within the department, with the ultimate goal of serving the other teams in cross-functional contexts, focusing on implementations and transformations.
 
Your team will be a mix of people with backgrounds in different functions and industries; people who have a project management profile in a context of management consulting and technology consulting. In that way, the team will be able to draw on its experience and expertise to support the customer in a wide range of digital transformation, such as ERP, MES but also data and AI oriented projects.

What will you be doing?

At delaware, we believe great Business Architects aren’t just born – they grow. This role is designed for talented professionals who already have solid business analysis or consulting experience, and who are ready to expand into a full-fledged business architecture role through hands-on project work, structured mentoring, and targeted training.
 
In a growth track towards Business Architect, you will:
- support senior Business Architects in translating customer strategies into actionable roadmaps.
- contribute to identifying opportunities and defining future-state business architectures
- assist in creating models, analyses, and methologies that guide transformation journeys.
- participate in workshops and interviews with stakeholders, e.g. capturing requirements, mapping processes & capabilities, ...
- help align business needs with technical designs by working closely with solution architects and IT teams.
 
This allows you to gradually take ownership as you build your expertise. In addition, you will have the opportunity to contribute to & grow our practice.

Is there a match?

Let’s have a look at the skills you’ll kickstart your Business Architecture growth path at delaware:
 
- A master’s degree (preferably in a Business or Computer science-related study) and 4 years or more of experience in business analysis, consulting or related roles.
- Familiarity with concepts like operating models, processes, capabilities, and value streams (deep expertise not yet required).
- Affinity with technology and experience in digitalization projects (e.g. ERP/CRM/MES/... implementations).
- Broad interest in business operations, possibly accompanied by established knowledge in one or more functional domains (e.g. logistics, planning, procurement, ... )
- Excellent soft skills in areas such as
communication & collaboration
stakeholder & change management
analytical thinking, problem solving & decision making
- Being fluent in English is a must, Dutch is preferred and French is a plus.

What does the growth path look like?

We ambition continued growth for you, in a phased approach:
1. Learning & Supporting: work alongside experienced Business Architects (and other senior colleagues) in a broad. Gain experience by exposure to methodologies, tools, and client interactions.
2. Co-owning: take on smaller architectural workstreams independently while still receiving close coaching and review.
3. Leading: lead business architecture tracks from start-to-finish, supported by the broader team.

As an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant, you have proven SAP Logistics experience. You’re a professional in the configuration of the TM flow, including planning & execution, charge calculation & settlement, cost distribution VSR, ASR, billing,… Preferably, you combine this experience with basic EWM knowledge to be able to execute the transportation planning in the warehouse, and implement the ASR integration between TM and EWM. Your knowledge and skills reach beyond user experience, as you are comfortable creating documentation or providing support or training.

Being involved in every aspect of the implementation process gives you energy. First, you analyze the needs of your customers and translate them into blueprints and technical designs. Next, you take care of the implementation and configuration processes, and last but not least, you organize training workshops and courses with the customer. From beginning to end, you like to be at the helm, driving your projects forward!

You make a point of staying up to date with the latest evolutions relating to SAP SD. This includes attending trainings, reading publications and search for relevant information proactively.
