Join our senior Microsoft ERP training program!

Feb 02, 2024

Interested in leaping towards a next step as Microsoft ERP consultant, but not sure where to start? At delaware we want to give experienced people the opportunity to make that switch by entering a dedicated training program and gaining the necessary hard and soft skills a seasoned D365 Finance & Operations consultant needs.

Who is this program for?

Do you recognize yourself in one of these 2 profiles? And are you excited to move towards the role of D365 F&O consultant

  • You have already built up experience as consultant in smaller ERP or OpenSource systems. Are you eager for a switch to more challenging projects at larger customers and want to move to innovation-driven techology?
  • You had a first taste of Microsoft D365 F&O or another ERP (SAP, Oracle, Odoo,…) as an internal key-user, business process owner, internal business analyst,… and are now ready to take a deep-dive in the consulting world and make a career switch to ERP consultant.

The training program

What can you expect?

Kick-off

The trajectory starts on the 3rd of June, where you’ll be onboarded & welcomed to delaware. In those first days, you’ll receive your car, laptop, phone,… and all practical information needed to get you off to a great start. You'll start in a group of other experienced people that want to make a switch to D365, with either a focus on Operations or Finance, and you'll follow the training trajectory together.

Deep-dive

Throughout the first full month, your colleagues from the D365 F&O team will give you and your other fellow starters a deep-dive into different Dynamics modules & processes. Towards the end of June, you’ll get advanced sessions in smaller teams to master the specific D365 modules you’ll be covering, depending on your focus. In this first month, our delaware project methodology & DevOps will also be introduced to you.

Project work & extra sessions

As from July, you’ll start on your first delaware customer project, with the needed guidance of other experienced people on the project. Between project days you will take part in a fictional business game to further practice your Microsoft D365 F&O knowledge and you’ll continue to receive a few learning & inspiration sessions from your experienced colleagues. These summer months are also the time to do self-learning for your Microsoft certification

And what after the training journey?

The learning path should give everyone a solid foundation to start on projects, and can complement your individual skills. As from September, you’ll support and advise our customers as a D365 F&O consultant full-time, with either a focus on Finance or Operations - the choice is yours! Professional & personal development doesn’t stop there however, check out all learning opportunities throughout your delaware career here.

During the 3-month training, you will work towards obtaining either the MB-310 certificate or MB-330 certificate, depending on your focus.

Can't wait to dive in?

Here are some practicals to keep in mind:

  • The official kick-off & onboarding starts on the 3rd of June 2024
  • You can apply to join the senior training program through the linked vacancy for D365 F&O consultant. If you send in your details, you’ll get in touch with recruiter Lien Declercq and go through the normal delaware recruitment process
  • The deadline to apply depends of course on your expected notice period. Ideally we would receive your application for the program before end of March, as experienced profiles usually have notice periods between 4 and 8 weeks, and you need to take into account about 2 weeks for a comfortable selection process & recruitment experience.
