Analytics Consultant

Microsoft, data & ai, un peu d'experience, consultant·e
Belgium

You’re someone who loves understanding how a business really works. Numbers, processes and people — you enjoy connecting those dots. Today, you might be working as a business controller, financial analyst, reporting specialist, or in a similar role. What sets you apart is your ability to think in data, recognise patterns, and bring structure to complexity. If this sounds like you, then you might be exactly the person we’re looking for!

What will you be doing?

You help organizations look ahead by building planning and analytics solutions that make their decisions better and their future clearer. This entails:

  • Understanding the business: you start each project with workshops, ask the right questions, challenge assumptions and capture what the customer really needs. Then you turn those insights into a clear functional design.
  • Translating processes into models: you build the core logic behind the solution, from revenue and cost drivers to workforce planning, investments or scenario modelling. You turn business rules into a structured, consistent model.
  • Enabling users: you create and design reports or dashboards that turn data into insight.
  • Testing, refining and delivering: you validate the solution with the customer, make adjustments where needed and guide them toward a smooth go-live.

Most projects run for a few months. You’ll typically be involved in two to three at the same time, always in an end-to-end role.

Who are we?

We’re the Extended Planning & Analytics (xP&A) team, a hands-on and business driven team, that helps organizations look ahead rather than only look back. We love blending business thinking with smart technology. We’re a team that likes to challenge the status quo, always looking for smarter ways to improve analytics, wether through AI, automation or new ways of working. We work closely with our team of data engineers, but our focus is more functional: we translate business needs into future-oriented planning solutions

We offer:

  • End-to-end project work
  • A culture where you can ask questions, learn fast and take owernship
  • A supportive team that shares knowledge openly
  • A mix of industries, customers and challenges
  • Clear growth paths, based on your strengths. Not a one-size-fits-all ladder

Just so you know: delaware has its offices in Antwerp, Ghent, Kortrijk, Lummen, Liège and Wavre, but we also spend a lot of time working together with our customers on-site.

Is there a match?

Let’s see. If you…

  • Have 3-5 years of experience in controlling, financial analysis, reporting or a related function;
  • Feel comfortable working with data and tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik,…;
  • Like to think in structures, numbers and logic;
  • Are eager to learn more about planning technologies and modelling. If you already have experience with Vena or Anaplan, that’s a plus;
  • Have good communication skills to be able to lead workshops;
  • Are adaptable and curious by nature: you challenge the status quo and look for smarter ways to improve analytics with AI or automation;
  • Are fluent in Dutch or French and are comfortable in English.

…then you may be the Analytics Consultant we’re looking for!
