SAP IBP Consultant

SAP, supply chain & operations, some experience, consultant
Belgium

Did you know delaware – and we’re proud to say so – was the first within the Benelux to undertake IBP projects? As an SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) consultant, you have the opportunity to guide our customers in streamlining their supply chain operations from both a process and technology perspective.

Your expertise in SAP will enable you to advise customers on how to enhance demand forecasting, inventory planning, and supply chain management, which results in better decision-making and improved planning accuracy. As you encourage your customers to optimize their processes and break down silos to foster better collaboration, anticipate and make decisions based on more accurate data, you must lead by example.

If you believe that you can assist our customers in optimizing and digitizing their planning processes, then what are you waiting for? Join our team as an IBP consultant.

What will you be doing?

We always work closely with our customers. You’ll often find us working on location in teams of 3-4 colleagues working on projects that normally take 6 to 9 months. Of course, you’ll meet the Supply Chain Planning team members in one of delaware’s own offices.

You’ll soon see that you will have a very diverse to-do list throughout:

  • You will have a look under the hood of the client’s current supply chain processes and spot inefficiencies. Your main challenge: find out what they need to make their planning and market demand run smoothly and turn it into a value-driven process.
  • Just like us, you firmly believe that SAP IBP is a breakthrough system for seamless integration and a ‘must-have’ on the path to a value-driven S&OP. But you also know that a one-size-fits-all approach is not what your customers need. That’s why you’ll listen very closely to what they expect. After defining the long-term goals, roles & responsibilities, gathering the required input, output & KPIs, you will roll up your sleeves and configure and adapt the IBP templates to each specific situation.
  • You will lead cross-functional teams. You will build bridges between the customer’s internal teams, but also between those teams and their suppliers. Bridges with the teams within delaware specialized in SAP PP, MM, SD and BI. You’ll soon experience yourself why delaware is a one-stop-shop for these kinds of projects!
  • You are involved in several parts of the project (from analysis, blueprinting, customizing, documentation, training, testing up until the ‘go live’ and support).
  • You can help make our offering even better. Together with our senior consultants you will assist in presales and prepare inspiration sessions, demo’s, presentations, etc. We’re relying on you to help us further expand what we do – and to keep us on our toes.
  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced consultants

Is there a match?

  • With at least two years of experience with one or multiple SAP IBP modules (Sales & Operational Planning, Demand Planning, Response & Supply planning, Inventory Optimization, Demand Driven MRP or Supply Chain Control Tower) you come a long way.
  • Have you been working with SAP APO, MM, SD, PPDS, BI, one of the other S&OP-related modules or do you have experience in integration technologies such as CIF,  CI-DS and SDI? That’s a plus!
  • You don’t have that specific SAP knowledge, but know more than a thing or two – well, actually, a lot more – about other planning software in an ERP and/or business context? Or do you have (many) more years of experience than what we mention above? Then please reach out to us, you are most welcome too.
  • Do you speak the language of IT and the operations manager, but also of the end users? Then you are the excellent communicator we are looking for.
  • Speaking of communication: Can you express yourself easily in English and Dutch or French?
  • Do you have a curious mindset and are willing to learn about the latest features of SAP IBP technologies and Supply Chain Management?
  • Do our company values appeal to you? We take care of our employees and customers, we are committed, enterprising and respectful, and we do everything based on a sense of positive team spirit.
