As a program manager at delaware, you lead programs from the first strategic conversation to delivery and long-term value. You talk vision with the C-level and translate it into a program. You bring together the teams to make it happen, and you steer several projects, parties and stakeholders as one. Project managers support you, and you stay end responsible for the program’s performance.

What will you be doing?

  • Shape the program with the customer, from pre-sales and analysis through blueprinting and execution to delivery.
  • Contribute to business development, proposal creation, and strategic customer conversations.
  • Set up clear governance, roles and communication across projects, partners and teams.
  • Balance changing priorities, scope, budget and dependencies across the whole program.
  • Keep stakeholders aligned and expectations realistic, calmly and clearly, also when things get tense.
  • Lead and coach project managers and teams, combining waterfall and agile where each fits.
  • Keep your eyes on benefit realization, so the program delivers value and not just a go-live.
 

Is there a match?

  • You have a master’s degree and 8+ years of experience in management consulting, technology consulting, program management, or business transformation.
  • You have led strategic or business transformation programs, or technology programs, such as ERP, digital, platforms or data and AI.
  • You have financial acumen. You know the financial drivers and KPIs that C-level management uses to make decisions.
  • You communicate well and facilitate well, through workshops, hybrid waterfall and agile approaches, and getting people to move together.
  • You work comfortably in cross-functional environments with many stakeholders, and you handle conflict kindly but clearly.
  • You’re fluent in English. Dutch or French is a plus.
