If you’ve got experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or similar tools, we’d love to hear your story.

Who are we?

We have an established Microsoft Data & AI team in West-Flanders, East-Flanders, Antwerp and Wallonia. Now, we’re ready to take the next step and expand our team in Limburg! That’s where you come in.

You’ll take the lead in figuring out and translating our customers’ business needs into the most fitting data solutions.

Part of your workload also consists of:

collecting, structuring and planning data
building and implementing end-to-end data platforms
advising clients on the optimal next steps
sharing knowledge with your delaware team members
co-creating with the client’s team

You won’t be doing this alone – we’ve got a great team to support you! You can count on the technical expertise and leadership of the broader Microsoft Data & AI team but also of the local leadership of delaware as a whole.

Who are we?

From creating the most basic reports to building a data architecture from scratch – you name it, we’ve done it. In the Microsoft Data Team, you’ll join more than 100 data engineers, analysts and scientists, working on innovative projects alongside one another.

We love to dive deep into data to help clients get to know their company from the inside out. This makes every project a new learning experience we get to share with each other. And we definitely love to share. Through team meetings, data snack sessions, going to conferences and reporting back on them and discussions (called DataCafés) we keep each other in the loop.

You can find most of our colleagues around our Ghent, Kortrijk and Antwerp offices but for this position, we are specifically looking for someone to join our Lummen office to help us build a local presence there.

Is there a match?

Let’s see. If you…

have at least 5 years of experience in data engineering, ideally with Microsoft technologies;
Know your way around Azure, Databricks or Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL and PySpark;
have a solid understanding of data modeling, ETL flows, and lakehouse architectures
have experience leading end-to-end data projects
are fluent in Dutch, and are proficient in English
