Senior Data & Analytics Consultant

As a Senior Data & Analytics Consultant, you’ll play a leading role in designing and delivering modern data platforms. Depending on your expertise, you can contribute across one or more of these four key domains:

1. Data Engineering: you gather and integrate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from diverse sources. You design and build cloud data platforms, using technologies from the Microsoft ecosystem, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric,... Working with large data volumes doesn’t intimidate you; it energizes you.
2. Data architecture: you help design, enrich, and govern data models and data architectures. You ensure quality, security, and compliance while optimizing processes end-to-end. You stay ahead of new methodologies and governance best practices and know how to apply them in real world environments.
3. Data Visualization: you make sure the data is properly visualized, both content- and design-wise. You set up interactive reports and dashboards, fully mobile enabled. You’re able to use self-service analytics tools such as Power BI to achieve that.
4. Analytics and data science: you support customers in deriving value from data: from descriptive reporting to predictive and prescriptive analytics. You are comfortable working in complex data environments and use tools like Azure Machine Learning Services, Python or R to develop meaningful insights.

• You take the lead and have end-to-end ownership of projects. From defining functional or technical requirements to delivering a solution that works;
• You advise customers at both operational and strategic levels, helping them become truly data-driven organizations;
• You coach colleagues, share knowledge, and contribute to thought leadership within the team;
• You’re comfortable leading workshops, presenting findings to stakeholders, or taking the initiative in project phases;

From creating the most basic reports to building a data architecture from scratch – you name it, we’ve done it. We’re the one-stop-shop for everything related to data. In the Microsoft Data & Analytics team, you’ll join more than 100 data engineers, analysts and scientists, working on innovative projects alongside one another. 

We love to dive deep into data to help clients get to know their company from the inside out. This makes every project a new learning experience we get to share with each other. And we definitely love to share. Through team meetings, data snack sessions, going to conferences and reporting back on them and discussions (called DataCafés) we keep each other in the loop. 

We work where we work best, when we work best. delaware has its offices in Antwerp, Ghent, Kortrijk, Liège, Lummen, and Wavre. But it’s important to note we also spend a lot of time connecting and working together with customers on-site.

Let’s see. If you…

• Have at least 5 years of experience within the data domain, ideally with the Microsoft Data stack;
• have a solid understanding of data modeling, ETL flows, and lakehouse architectures;  
• Are solution-minded by nature and an excellent communicator, able to translate the complexity of data into clear business;
• Are fluent in Dutch or French and English;
• Have experience in consulting or service-oriented environments, that's definitely a plus!
