Internal Communications & Change Specialist

You’ll play a key role in supporting change and transformation initiatives from a communication perspective, from strategy to execution. You’ll work on a wide range of projects: from company-wide transformation programmes to initiatives focused on new ways of working or changing internal processes.

You will:

• Work closely with programme and track leads to understand what is changing, for whom, and why it matters in practice
• Translate complex initiatives into clear communication strategies, key messaging and structured plans
• Identify stakeholders and define the right approach per audience to get them onboard
• Support leaders in communicating change by advising, coaching, and shaping key clear messages and consistent storytelling
• Assess change impact and define the desired behavioural shift, helping translate what changes into clear expectations for what people need to understand, feel, and do differently
• Develop communication toolkits, talking points, templates, and content across channels
• Monitor how change is received, gather feedback and adjust approach to improve understanding and adoption
• Ensure alignment across initiatives and channels so messaging stays consistent and focused
• In addition, you’ll contribute to broader internal communication initiatives and campaigns where relevant.

You’ll join the Internal Communications team at delaware, a small but experienced team that supports communication across the entire organisation.

We work closely with colleagues across HR, IT, L&D, and our consulting teams. Many of the initiatives we support are part of broader transformation programmes, meaning you’ll regularly collaborate with colleagues who are focused on change and transformation within the business.

The team is hands-on, pragmatic, and close to the business. We value clear communication, collaboration, and making things work in practice – not just on paper.

We’re looking for someone who combines strong communication expertise with knowledge of change management.

You:

• Have at least 5 years of experience in internal communication and/or change communication
• Bring knowledge of change management, employee engagement and leadership communication.
• Are strong in stakeholder management, including working with senior leadership
• Have strong writing skills and can translate complex topics into clear, human communication
• Combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution: you think, but you also write, create, and deliver
