Thaaiste Quiz: an evening with a purpose!

New edition meant some new faces as well with 2 brand new quizmasters and some new jury members.

The Thaaiste Quiz is not just a quiz however, it’s an evening with a purpose: collecting enough funds and awareness to send some delaware colleagues to Thailand for Fund Isaan. These colleagues set up computer classes & give 6-week (!) long English classes in some of the poorest regions of Thailand. None of it would be possible without the enthusiastic team spirit & commitment during the quiz!

And the winner is...

But in the end, even though it’s for a good cause, there can only be one winner: team The Writer’s Guild was the smartest (or luckiest?) of the bunch and took home 4 smartphones as a prize! Although one winner is relative, since it ended with an ex aequo, so special mention to team Witte Gei’t who ended in second place.

Big thanks to all the sponsors who provided the awesome prizes, the loempia team for over 800 hand rolled loempia’s & the 20(!) delaware partners who were present as a team or volunteer.
