What will you be doing?

  • Designing and supporting the implementation of edge computing solutions that allow real-time data collection, processing, and analysis closer to devices and machines. 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (IT, OT, business stakeholders) to align solutions with customer needs across various industries. 
  • Contributing to the integration of edge platforms, sensors, data gateways, and data pipelines with cloud or on-premise systems. 
  • Assisting in defining architectures and setting up edge infrastructures that are secure, scalable, and maintainable. 
  • Keeping up to date with emerging technologies in edge computing, industrial IoT, connectivity (e.g., OPC-UA, MQTT), and data streaming. 
  • Translating customer needs into technical requirements and ensuring a seamless user experience through implementation and support

 Are a student or young professional with an affinity for operational technology 

  • You have an interest in exploring technologies like IoT, Node-RED, MQTT, OPC UA, Grafana, Docker, or even full-stack approaches like the MING stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Node.js, and a frontend framework)? Then you will definitely feel at home in our team to further explore these tools and technologies. If you already have some hands-on experience, that’s a great bonus. 
  • You have basic experience or interest in programming (e.g., Python, C#/C++) and have an affinity for working with hardware and networks. 
  • We’re looking for people who want to connect the dots, using data, edge computing, and integration to optimize manufacturing, support people on the shop floor, and enable AI-driven insights as part of the Factory of the Future. 
  • Have an instinct for consultancy: you have the communication skills to get to the core of what clients want and need, and then guide them through the improvement process 
  • Speak English fluently, preferably in combination with Dutch or French 
  • Have a driver’s license, to get wherever you need to be 
  • Are motivated to learn and eager to take on new challenges

Junior Data Integration Engineer

“As an integration consultant, one of my favorite projects was working with a hospital to integrate their HR systems. This was a complex task, as it involved bringing together various systems and processes to improve the hospital’s HR operations. It was my first project, and I didn’t realize how many systems were actually involved. First, you have the employee management software and the payroll provider. However, employees also need to expense things if they buy something for work, so there was another tool for that. The recruitment team sometimes wants to get a candidate take a cognitive test, so there was another tool for that. Not every employee has access to every room or building, so access management needed to be integrated too. There was another tool for that. You get the gist, right? Getting all these systems to work together in a structured and maintainable way was a huge challenge.” — Rob Hofman 

As a Junior Integration Engineer, you’ll take on the role of technical consultant. You’ll be supporting our projects from start to finish, from analysis to implementation and support.This will feel like coming home thanks to your knowledge of IT.

Junior Customer Experience Consultant

“As a Customer Experience Consultant, my job is very diverse: customizing software based on the needs of the client, aligning with stakeholders on what the specific business needs are, working on training materials to coach the client in using the software the correct way, etc. The type of work really depends on the stage of the project. I’m now working on a project where I’m configuring Microsoft Dynamics to the needs of the client, organizing the data set to make use of other integrations, documenting the configurations in DevOps, etc. Being a functional consultant means that you have to adapt to the needs of the project in order to provide value to the client. This is done by automating and optimizing their processes such as marketing, sales, field and customer service!” — Nicolas Flanagan 

Like Nicolas, you’ll be working as a functional consultant, straddling the business and IT sides of our projects. What does that mean exactly? A project typically goes a bit like this: first, you visit the customer and organize workshops to analyze their way of working. Based on that information, you create blueprints, drawing up processes and suggesting optimizations. Then the IT part comes into play. You’ll be inputting the processes to a software package and translating business requirements into technical specifications for our developers (who will do the coding). After testing whether everything works properly, you’ll train the customer in how to use the new system.

Junior Testing and Lifecycle Management

We are hiring for september 2026!

“On my current project, I am responsible for ensuring the quality of the applications through both manual and automation testing. The project involves working closely with developers to verify that the application functions as expected and as described in the customer requirements. The customer uses the Zephyr Scale tool for test plans and test cycles, Azure DevOps on the other hand is used for development and automation tests. We log and manage bugs in Jira, which we also use for the sprint boards. For automation testing, I develop tests using Playwright with TypeScript. The active collaboration with the development team makes this a very exciting project where I learn a lot at short time period. Regular meetings with the stakeholders during in-office work days or remote ensure the best communication and satisfaction.” — Lotte Rombaut. 

As a Junior Test Engineer, you’ll take on the role of technical or functional tester, meaning that you’ll be supporting our projects on each test cycle, from small unit testing to integration and acceptance testing.

Développeur Junior Low Code (2024)

“As a member of the Low Code & Automation team, I focus on building low-code applications on the Mendix platform. My current project is with TUC RAIL, an engineering firm. Every day they supervise the construction of train tracks, and they’re legally obliged to keep a record of each shift. They used to do this via Excel and printed documents — a time-consuming process. Now, via the app I created, TUC RAIL and their subcontractors can input all data digitally. Then an automatic approval flow is activated, sending the data to the right people in the company. In addition, the contractors can even log on-site issues and receive solutions from their off-site colleagues. They told me they’re very happy with the app and can’t wait to automate more of their processes in the future.” — Mattias Van Schelvergem
