Inspiration session Industry 4.0 in Process Manufacturing

Inspiration session Industry 4.0 in Process Manufacturing

Unlock the true potential of Industry 4.0

Companies are investing heavily in Industry 4.0 technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Big Data with the expectation of achieving transformative results. In reality, many organizations experience only gradual improvements and limited returns on investment.

Over the past three years, we have conducted a research project in collaboration with the University of Antwerp to better understand how companies can generate greater value from their investments in innovative technologies. By studying organizations that are successfully implementing Industry 4.0, we identified ten key strategic transformations that drive impact.

Our research also revealed three major barriers that often prevent companies from realizing these transformations:

  • a lack of knowledge
  • the absence of a clear strategy and roadmap
  • insufficient organizational transformation and governance alignment

This inspirational session focuses on these critical barriers and explores how companies can overcome them to unlock the full value of their technology investments.
