This is a strategic decision that will allow the company to support its growing number of customers and consultants in the region. The goal is to put down roots near the companies, consultants and universities that produce new talent in the Liège industrial region, the bassin liégeois. Following the Wavre branch, this new address in Wallonia also represents an opportunity to connect directly with the Luxembourg office, which is a very important hub for delaware.
delaware is far from being a new player in the region. The specialist in implementing advanced technological solutions is already well established and supports Liège's biggest names in industry and the public sector. By moving closer to the region's economic players, delaware can help them accelerate their commercial and digital transformations at very short notice. "We are aware of the challenges faced by companies in the Liège region. delaware has expertise in all the technologies that are needed to consolidate the digital transformation and automation of the many nodes in Liège's economic community," explains Stéphanie De Bock, delaware’s spokesperson.
Located on Rue de la Ferme in Ans, the delaware-managed building offers 320 m2 on two floors, or space for about 50 people. Rather than a classic open-plan structure, the interior architecture reflects the desire to stimulate encounters and creativity in line with the new way of working that delaware wants to introduce. Above all, the Liège office is a hub that gives everyone who comes there a sense of encounter. For instance, one of the meeting rooms is called ‘Le Carré’, in reference to the lively neighbourhood in the city. Of course, the current public health measures are being strictly adhered to, and the building will only welcome its first visitors once the rules allow this to happen.
Olivier Spahn is well known in the consulting world in Wallonia and Luxembourg, having been at delaware for more than ten years and a delaware BeLux partner for two years. He is looking forward to dividing his time between managing the branches in Luxembourg and Liège: "The new branch is part of a long-term growth strategy.
