Constellar: First S/4HANA Public Cloud in Singapore

Constellar Holdings (formally SingEx Holdings) deploys S/4HANA Cloud as part of expansion plans into Southeast Asia, China, India and the UK.

Operating as a subsidiary of Temasek Holdings - one of Singapore’s largest investment holding companies - Constellar Holdings (formally SingEx Holdings) houses four organisations providing integrated solutions for venue management and consultancy, exhibition and conference organising services and international exhibition related ventures. Constellar is currently developing a longer-term digital roadmap that includes the extension of services and integration with its ecosystem of front-end sales, marketing and fulfilment systems, as well as exploring solutions for food and beverage services, data management, analytics and warehousing solutions. 

With this, the first SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation in Singapore went live in August 2019 with delaware Singapore as the implementation partner. 

A transformation journey

Constellar is embarking on a transformation journey to prepare all entities and regional offices in the various markets for long-term growth. In line with this growth plan, they are undertaking multiple corporate and line of business initiatives. One of the major corporate initiatives they have identified involves the streamlining of financial and other related business processes. This will drive greater business performance and conformance.

In this context, they sought to implement a new core finance system that will replace the finance components of their existing ERP platform. The new system is expected to serve all their entities and regional offices.
