The Exact Online Connector for Salesforce makes it easy to set up an integration between Salesforce and Exact Online using the Exact Online REST API.
The Exact Online Connector exposes the REST endpoints to retrieve (GET), create (POST) or update (PUT) data in Exact Online.
The connector has a synchronization batch that will enable you to sync data from Salesforce to Exact Online on regular intervals (this can be small intervals like 10 minutes) or pull data from Exact Online to Salesforce.
The Object and Field mappings between Salesforce and Exact Online need to be defined in Apex.
Which objects need to sync via the synchronization batch also need to be defined in Apex.
The connector manages the authentication and synchronization logic. The connector also includes error handling. When an error occurs in the synchronization, the connector will automatically create a log.
Typical use case is to synchronize Accounts and Invoices from Salesforce to Exact Online and retrieve the payment status of the invoices from Exact Online and write it back to Salesforce.
