Renson teams with delaware to activate SunRise with SAP
Renson, a worldwide trendsetter in the field of natural ventilation, solar shading and outdoor living, has chosen delaware as its long-term partner to realize its heralded SunRise Project, based on SAP’s S/4HANA.
SunRise is set to be the trigger for granting Renson access to more precise data, allowing them to make faster, more informed business decisions based on high quality insights and further enabling future international growth and potential for innovation, while augmenting the service levels and improving the customer journey.
Belgian born, internationally driven
Headquartered in Waregem, Belgium, Renson is a family owned business, established in 1909. They pride themselves on creating, producing and selling sustainable and innovative solutions within their mission of “Creating Healthy Spaces”. With over 1,000 employees spread worldwide, Renson is looking to SunRise to enable them to speed up international growth and integrate acquisitions more easily.
Seeking to increase its global reach, Renson designed SunRise as a way to reduce its risk of relying on old technology and augment usability, digitalization, product innovation and standardization, while encouraging smoother collaboration with partners around the globe. Relying on proven SAP technology and delaware’s time-tested experience, Renson designed SunRise to expand its reach, boost information sharing and help them to more quickly access quality data to improve decision making at an international level.

Designing data to boost efficiency and drive transformation
To achieve their vision, Renson developed SunRise to implement a full SAP solution with delaware, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Customer Experience (previously known as SAP C/4HANA), SAP Engineering Control Center and SAP Vendor Invoice Management by OpenText.
Operational excellence is guaranteed with the SAP S/4HANA preconfigured solution FAST-Engineer, while SAP Customer Experience offers a complete platform for customer experience in both the B2B and B2C markets. SAP Engineering Control Center will increase the engineering efficiency by connecting the CAD systems to the operating environment based on SAP S/4HANA.
Aside from their familiarity with these proven tools, delaware relies on its customized, time-tested project methodologies and provides experienced people in all areas of SAP expertise. Its proven track record in similar industry environments, as well as its solid reputation and a steadily expanding international presence were other convincing factors influencing Renson’s decision to choose delaware for this mission.
Building on shared experience for future success
Fourth-generation leader Paul Renson looks at the partnership with delaware and SAP as an exciting opportunity to enable future growth, creating new opportunities for both national and international Mergers & Acquisitions.
Set to begin in 2020, SunRise highlights Renson’s commitment to expanding their horizons by increasing their management reach and efficiency through a sound digital transformation strategy. In partnering with delaware and SAP, Renson sees SunRise as more than just an IT-project, but a complete transformation for the whole Renson-group, in which everyone will be involved.
For Renson, SunRise is really nothing more than the logical next move in the company’s evolution. To continue further international growth, they recognize that the time has come to rely on a solid digital foundation. This allows them to collaborate more efficiently and communicate in a better way, both internally and externally.
In making their choice, Renson looked at both delaware’s proven IT experience and its future vision.
