delaware joins Microsoft Mixed Reality Partner Program (MRPP) as first in Belgium

The MRPP is a community-driven program for Microsoft Partners that successfully helps customers in manufacturing, retail, and other industries accelerate their digital transformations. To receive a certificate, partners must have the in-house skills to implement mixed-reality solutions, as well as meet a number of performance thresholds.  

The business value of mixed reality

“We’ve been developing mixed-reality applications in a wide range of sectors,” says Andy De Meyer, XR lead at delaware. “For instance, we’ve been working on XR-driven optimization of production at Bekaert and the creation of an AR product configurator at Schréder. But we’re noticing a significant uptick in both interest and demand for these kinds of solutions as well – especially in our current era, where remote working has become the norm. More and more companies are starting to see the value in remote assistance, maintenance and guidance via HoloLens 2, for example.”

Andy: “Our team of experts has experience with, amongst other solutions, Remote Assistance for support and maintenance, Spatial Scanning for documentation and simulation, Spatial Anchors for localization and navigation and Guides for on-the-job guidance and training. Furthermore, our wide range of in-house developed solutions makes it possible to jumpstart customer inquiries empowered with Microsoft Mixed Reality services. With this certification, Microsoft acknowledges delaware as a top innovator and technical partner in the region, with the credentials and track record that go along with that.”
