Schréder Portal for Operating Together

To anticipate its customers' needs better, Schréder has to produce its own ‘smarter’ IT systems. In this respect, the priority of the IT department is to consolidate the very disparate information systems to achieve truly unified IT management at a group level. In addition to standardizing 27 different ERP systems, one of the top priorities is the implementation of a company-wide Enterprise Content Management solution.

Schréder has placed its trust in delaware as a strategic partner for this ECM cluster, as part of a project called SPOT (that stands for Schréder Portal for Operating Together). Based on Microsoft Sharepoint 2013 and Sharepoint Online, this solution, which is now operational and constantly evolving, aims to facilitate the collaboration between all the company employees, spread across 48 companies around the world. It allows file sharing and collaborative project management.

A ‘group’ image

Schréder is pleased that this SPOT project is contributing to building a ‘group’ image, which increases the attractiveness of the company where everyone tends to work at a local level. Now, searching for information from another entity in the group can be found in a few clicks. Each employee feels much better … enlightened in their everyday work.
