SAP Basis Consultant

As part of our SAP technical team expansion, we are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to manage, administer, and optimize our SAP environments. This position offers the opportunity to work in an international environment, within multidisciplinary teams, and to contribute actively to the stability and performance of our SAP systems, which are essential to the group’s operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, etc.).
  • Administer SAP servers, including user management, authorizations, printing, and system performance.
  • Monitor system security and availability proactively to ensure optimal operation.
  • Manage SAP transports and ensure consistency across development, test, and production environments.
  • Participate in SAP landscape evolution projects such as migrations, S/4HANA conversions, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to resolve incidents and implement fixes.
  • Document processes, configurations, and maintenance procedures.
  • Ensure SAP environments comply with internal standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Information Systems.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, HANA Database, and Solution Manager.
  • Proficiency with Linux/Unix and Windows Server operating systems.
  • Experience with databases (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (SAP CCMS, Solution Manager, etc.).
  • Good understanding of SAP security principles and communication protocols (RFC, HTTP, HTTPS, SSO).
