We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA FICO & OpenText VIM Consultant to provide application support, system maintenance, and continuous improvements for our SAP landscape. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in SAP Finance and OpenText VIM with a solid understanding of financial processes and excellent problem-solving skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

1. System Maintenance and Support

  • Provide day-to-day support for SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling (FICO) modules, ensuring system stability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP applications and VIM, including Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO).
  • Support OpenText VIM for SAP Solution, e.g., set up document types, workflows, and OCR integrations.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with financial standards and regulations.

2. Configuration and Customization

  • Configure and customize SAP FICO and VIM system to meet business requirements as part of bug fixing or change request.
  • Implement changes and enhancements to SAP systems/VIM based on user feedback and business needs.

3. Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP systems with other business processes.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide appropriate solutions.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
  • High Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in SAP project and/or application support, specifically with SAP S/4HANA FICO and VIM.
  • Proven experience in implementing/supporting OpenText VIM for SAP solutions, including inbound processing, exception handling, approval procedures, logic modules, and document posting, e.g., set up document types, workflows, and OCR integrations.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving SAP-related issues.
  • Preferably experienced in ITIL methodology.
  • Knowledgeable in ITSM tool (ServiceNow or similar) for ticket management.

  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance processes, including:
    • New GL
    • AP
    • AR
    • Asset Accounting
    • Product Cost Controlling
    • Cost Element Accounting
    • Cost Center Accounting
    • Profitability Analysis
    • Profit Center Accounting
  • Strong understanding of OpenText VIM for SAP solution (e.g., set up document types, workflows, and OCR integrations). Integration knowledge in VIM with SAP modules like FI and MM, as well as with other systems for automated document processing. Familiarity with VIM features, including the VIM Workplace and Indexing Screen.
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and VIM configuration tools and techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certifications

  • SAP certification in FICO is preferred.
