The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems. You will work closely with business users and functional teams to deliver analytics solutions that support informed decision-making.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data models, data flows, InfoObjects, DSOs, InfoCubes, CompositeProviders, and Open ODS Views in SAP BW. 
  • Implement ETL processes using SAP BW tools and extractors from SAP ECC or S/4HANA systems. 
  • Create and manage queries and reports using SAP BEx Query Designer or Analysis for Office. 
  • Optimize data loading, performance tuning, and query execution times. 
  • Integrate SAP BW with front-end tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau). 
  • Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements and translate them into BI solutions. 
  • Ensure data accuracy, security, and governance across BW objects. 
  • Support the transition from legacy BW to SAP BW/4HANA where applicable. 
  • Provide end-user training, technical documentation, and ongoing support. 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BW (preferably on HANA or BW/4HANA). 
  • Strong understanding of SAP ECC/S4 data sources and extractors. 
  • Proficient in SAP BW modeling, ETL, and data warehousing concepts. 
  • Experience with BW on HANA and/or BW/4HANA preferred. 
  • Knowledge of ABAP routines in transformations and user exits is a plus. 
  • Experience with SAP HANA modeling or native HANA views is an advantage.
