We are looking for a Microsoft 365 Administrator to join our IT team and take ownership of the administration, optimization, and support of our M365 environment. This role is crucial in ensuring a secure, efficient, and user-friendly digital workplace experience for our employees across multiple locations.

🚀 Please note: While we are a consulting company, this is an internal IT role. You will be working for our own organization, not for external clients. Our IT team is responsible for providing a modern, secure, and efficient digital workplace for our employees worldwide.

Your role at delaware

Oversee the day-to-day administration and continuous improvement of the M365 platform, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and related services.
Manage and optimize user lifecycle processes, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access control across Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
Ensure role-based access control (RBAC) and least privilege principles are followed.
Implement, maintain, and enforce M365 security policies (e.g., Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Endpoint Protection via Intune) in close collaboration with the Digital Workplace and Security team.
Implement and monitor Data Loss Prevention (DLP), eDiscovery, and retention policies to ensure regulatory compliance and data governance.
Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to track M365 usage, security posture, and service health.
Serve as the primary escalation point for M365-related issues, providing Tier 2/3 support for users and IT teams.

Experience & Skills

3+ years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 in a mid-to-large enterprise.
OR a strong technical background with demonstrated expertise in Microsoft based systems administration, cloud technologies, or IT infrastructure, combined with a proven ability to learn quickly and adapt.
Strong knowledge of Entra ID, Hybrid Exchange Online & on prem, SharePoint, OneDrive,and Teams.
Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
Familiarity with M365 security tools, including Defender for Office 365 and Intune.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independent whilst being a team player at the same time.
