At delaware Hungary, we are looking for a Medior Web Developer to join our expanding international team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge web platforms, working primarily with React (Next.js a plus) and .NET 8 Web API. Experience with Sitecore is an advantage. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless backend integration and delivering modern, high-performance, and user-focused web experiences.

Your role at delaware

  • Steer our Sitecore projects, developing intricate web platforms, ensuring top-notch user experience and consistency.
  • Oversee the evaluation and enhancement of web platform performance, ensuring smooth operation and high reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with the backend team, integrating web platforms for consistent and real-time data exchange.
  • Convert complex UI/UX designs into seamless, top-quality web interfaces, while setting standards for the wider developer team.
  • Ensure seamless functionality across various browsers, troubleshooting any browser-specific challenges.
  • Lead the integration of the latest trends in Sitecore and web development, fostering an environment of ongoing learning and evolution.
  • Set benchmarks using Sitecore-centric testing tools to ensure the reliability and unparalleled performance of web platforms.
  • Offer regular project updates, actively solve challenges, and promote transparent communication. Guide and train junior developers, sharing your wealth of knowledge and expertise.

Experience & Skills

  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in modern web development, with a strong focus on React (Next.js experience is a plus) and .NET 8 Web API backend development.
  • Sitecore experience is considered an advantage, including familiarity with Sitecore development environments and best practices, as well as experience with Sitecore 10 XP (containers, analytics, marketing forms) and Sitecore migrations or version upgrades.
  • Proven experience in system or platform migrations, version transitions, or modernization projects.
  • Expertise in seamless backend integration, ensuring reliable and consistent data exchange.
  • Strong knowledge of web development frameworks, application life cycles, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Proficiency with standard development tools and version control systems-
  • Demonstrated ability in performance optimization, ensuring consistent behavior across different browsers and versions.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, emphasizing collaboration, iterative delivery, and team alignment.
