TCR: Advanced Real-Time Reporting

TCR is the leading European provider of ground support equipment (GSE) services. The company offers expertise in the rental and operational leasing of ground support equipment, as well as maintenance, ramp handling support, and fleet management services. Its rental offering reduces the financial risks for ground handlers associated with owning ground support equipment, while ensuring that the equipment remains available for operations at all times.

TCR serves more than 100 airports across Europe and the Asia-Pacific region, meeting service level agreements (SLAs) related to the availability and maintenance of GSE. In total, TCR owns around 25,000 assets that frequently move throughout its global network.

Total Transparency 

To improve TCR’s reporting on equipment availability, delaware built a tailored online dashboard based on Microsoft technology. TCR now receives a global overview of equipment availability that is updated every fifteen minutes. This real-time reporting allows TCR to communicate transparently with its external customers, while also displaying the same information internally on screens in TCR’s workshops. It enables monitoring and visualisation of SLA compliance and helps employees prioritise maintenance tasks.

Today, this external reporting feature is fully integrated into TCR’s customer portal.

Following the success of this first collaborative project, TCR expressed the desire to have:

  • A detailed profit and loss account by individual equipment unit to improve decision-making.

  • A consolidated view of spare parts inventory to improve availability across its network of workshops.
