A worthy introduction to the Hungarian automotive industry

We were very excited to have the opportunity to introduce ourselves to the Hungarian automotive industry on such a public venue as the newly opened Zala Zone Test Track. We could have done it by giving a standard presentation or simply handing out some leaflets. But that’s not who we are, that’s not the delawarian way…. We had to arrive with a BANG.

Racing through international clouds

We decided that to showcase our unique capabilities, we would present ourselves with style. And, of course, we couldn’t think of anything more stylish than the race car we prepared for the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in collaboration with Gillet Automobiles. However, that was still not enough. A race car is nothing without its driver. This meant that we of course had to invite Vanina Ickx, who, remembering her previous positive experience with the people of delaware, agreed to join us in the picturesque Hungarian town, Zalaegerszeg.

#peopleofdelaware at their best

As the days were leading up to the Mobil Zalaegerszeg 2019 event, we had to work with quite a few tight deadlines. Posters, flyers, videos, presentations — we threw everything in the mix and off we went. Besides enjoying ourselves immensely, we were also quite pleased with the positive business aspects of our participation. “It was a great opportunity for us to participate among some of the biggest players in the automotive industry” enthused Ádám Jezsoviczky, managing director of delaware Hungary. “The event at the Zala Zone Test Track attracted a very colorful international audience that consisted of not just big corporations, but small and medium enterprises as well as groups of young, ambitious soon-to-be engineers and developers from several different universities. I think we made a great impression and I hope that we will be there next year as well.”

If a picture says a thousand words, how about a video…

We could go on and on about all the small experiences that we were lucky to have during the event. However, instead, how about we share it with you? Click on the below video and let’s race to the clouds together!
