Since the founding of delaware 20 years ago, the company has grown extremely rapidly while becoming a truly global player and proving delivery experience. In 2023, we are proud to announce, that we have been invited to hold the SAP Platinum Partner status, and now have become one of just eleven global platinum resellers. As companies holding this status provide product, platform and industry expertise to help transform businesses into best-run enterprises, we are fully focused on delivering the benefits of SAP technologies to our customers across all of the industry verticals in which we have outstanding experience.

the Hungarian entity

Founded in 2015, the Hungarian entity have come a long way in the past years. With starting out with only a handful of people, the office now counts 100 committed #peopleofdelaware. While the SAP and the industry-specific Utility team use advanced IT solutions to enable our customers to achieve the highest level of business efficiency, the Digital team is focusing on developing cutting-edge solutions to help our clients get the most out of their digital journey.

From 2022, Hungary has become an independent entity and thus, has reached the next level of maturity: with formally granted decision-making power from the headquarters, we have been given the opportunity to grow according to our own insights, in collaboration with international projects. As a result, we opened our second office in Debrecen in 2023.

2023

To increase our global market presence and global delivery services, delaware expands its operations in Malaysia by merging with local company Applicate, and establishes global delivery centers in Morocco and India. Support entities in Ireland and Canada help develop the UK and Canadian market. This takes our headcount to over 4600 #peopleofdelaware.

2020-2021

We expand our European footprint and merge with Lauterbach, a house-hold name in the German printing and packaging industry. We open new offices in the Netherlands and Belgium and grow to 2600 professionals.
The delaware brand gets a refresh

2017

delaware has become a company with more than 1500 employees, present in 13 countries. We continue to grow our solution and industry portfolio in and out of our existing footprint. We change our name and brand to ‘delaware’, instead of Delaware Consulting.

2013-2016

in order to remain relevant for our growing international customer base, we extend our footprint in the strategically important regions of South-East Asia and South America. In 2015, we reached the milestone of 1000 professionals.

2009-2012

while our solution and industry portfolio increased, we intensified our activities in Western Europe, resulting in new offices in France and the Netherlands.

2005-2008

delaware started its geographic expansion by opening offices in China and the US, following our customers where it is most relevant for their business. We focus on SAP and Microsoft as prime business partners.

2003-2004

delaware is created in Belgium as an independent partnership, originating from a management buy-out from Andersen/Deloitte.
