What will you be doing as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant?

As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant, you’ll work on a wide variety of Microsoft Dynamics 365 projects.

  • Together with the client, you document the future business processes and align these to D365.
  • You coach less experienced team members in configuring the system and training end-users.
  • Know that you’ll be able to realize projects for companies large and small, in every possible industry.
  • At all times you keep learning: you develop your coaching skills by closely working together with more junior colleagues and when you have expert questions of your own, you can get the support of more senior colleagues.
  • We work where we work best, when we work best. delaware Hungary has an office in Budapest and we will be launching our second office in Debrecen this year! We offer flexible hours, and we’ll find the perfect balance together. 

Did you know we recently transformed our SMART BI solution to D365? This delaware solution provides advanced Cost-to-Serve functionalities, by combining finance and supply chain activities. This enables our customer to move beyond daily reporting and straight-forward accounting and dig deep into controlling and much more.

Is there a match?

  • Do you have a good understanding of accounting and controlling? Do you have, for example, a solid economics or finance background?
  • Are you tech savvy? If you already had a taste of Microsoft AX or Dynamics, than that’s great, but if you’re eager to learn all about it, you’re just as welcome!
  • Are you a natural born consultant? In other words: are you an excellent listener, someone who quickly understands a customer’s needs and can translate these in crystal clear user specifications? A strong presenter, also during training sessions? Someone who’s open to share her / his knowledge with colleagues and customers?
  • Do you communicate fluently in English? Should you be interested in international opportunities, that’s possible too.

Junior Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer (September 2023)

“My current and past projects involve the development of customers’ network infrastructures on Azure, including hub-spoke architecture, virtual WAN (VWAN), network virtual appliances (NVA), virtual private network (VPN) tunnels, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). As an Azure DevOps engineer, I automate the set-up and management of the customer's cloud environment via infrastructure-as-code. Junior Low Code Developer (September 2023)

“As a member of the Low Code & Automation team, I focus on building low-code applications on the Mendix platform. My current project is with TUC RAIL, an engineering firm. Every day they supervise the construction of train tracks, and they’re legally obliged to keep a record of each shift. They used to do this via Excel and printed documents — a time-consuming process. Now, via the app I created, TUC RAIL and their subcontractors can input all data digitally. Then an automatic approval flow is activated, sending the data to the right people in the company. In addition, the contractors can even log on-site issues and receive solutions from their off-site colleagues. They told me they’re very happy with the app and can’t wait to automate more of their processes in the future.” — Mattias Van Schelvergem

Junior Web Developer (Full)

“On my current project, I am developing a B2B e-commerce website, using Kentico CMS. This platform allows the client to customize the content they want to display, analyze user behavior, and trigger marketing campaigns, etc. The client wanted to be able to create and manage the delivery modes themselves, and I was in charge of retrieving the new delivery methods that the company had registered and that were stored in the SQL Server database. I developed the data retrieval part in .NET, and for the display on the e-commerce site, I used the React library. I was in contact with the customer’s IT department throughout to make sure that the final result was exactly what they wanted.” — Yassine Layachi

Junior Mobile Developer (FULL)

“Since starting at delaware, I’ve been working on a project at Fluvius to develop and maintain various applications. During the development phase, our team mainly focuses on the quality of the code; readability is paramount. The applications we currently develop consist of an Angular front end and a .NET API. In the front end, the focus isn’t only on web applications but also on hybrid apps and PWAs. This is a challenge because you have to keep the look and feel of the different platforms in mind. What I like most about the job is the impact you have on the client — the apps and functionalities I develop support the technicians at Fluvius in their daily work.” — Marbod Naassens

Senior MS Integration Consultant

You can handle smaller projects independently but you work equally well as part of a team and are also capable of being a project leader. In those kinds of projects, you fulfill a coaching role for your less-experienced colleagues.

You’re not just a programmer, you’re equally good at thinking about tactical and strategic possibilities that combine various systems. You understand the ins and outs of both the technological and the management side of the IT story and you can convey and present them clearly – also to your customers.

A #rookiesofdelaware kezdeményezés célja az, hogy megmutassuk, újonnan csatlakozó kollégáink mivel töltik egy munkanapjukat, így a résztvevők egy-egy napra átvették az irányítást Instagramunk felett, és ők osztottak meg történeteket az irodából. A Nemzetközi Nőnap (2022. március 8.) tiszteletére megkérdeztük a #peopleofdelaware csapatát a világ minden tájáról, hogy tapasztalják-e és hogyan élik meg a nemek közötti egyenlőtlenséget, és mit tesznek ennek az előítéletnek a megtörése érdekében – ami az idei év témája. Női és férfi kollégáink elmondják, pontosan hogyan tervezik a sztereotípiák leküzdését, a diszkrimináció elleni küzdelmet és a nemek közötti egyenlőtlenség felszámolását.

Nemzetközi nőnap: hogyan támogatjuk kolléganőinket, hogy ők is a lehető legsikeresebbek lehessenek az IT iparban

A globális munkaerőpiac közel felét ma már nők alkotják. Ez egy meglepően magas szám a korábbi évtizedekhez képest. Sajnálatos módon ugyanez a statisztika a technikai pozíciókban dolgozó nőkre vonatkozóan igen kiábrándító, tekintve hogy napjainkban ez még alacsonyabb, mint a 80-as években. Azt ugye jól tudjuk, hogy az IT ipar különösképpen szenved a szakképzett pályaelhagyóktól. Most a Nemzetközi Nőnap alkalmából pont ezért szeretnénk kiemelni, hogy mi mindent tudunk tenni annak érdekében, hogy ellensúlyozzuk ezt a trended, valamint hogy miként tudjuk támogatni a technikai világot kedvelő és az IT piac iránt érdeklődő nőket.  read more
