In honor of International Women’s Day (8 March 2022), we asked #peopleofdelaware from all over the world if or how they experience gender inequality and what they do in order to #BreakTheBias – which is this year’s theme. Female and male colleagues pitch in and tell us exactly how they plan to tackle stereotypes, combat discrimination and put an end to gender inequality.
 

If there’s one thing this pandemic has taught us, it’s that empathy is crucial. We are social beings and a lot of us have suffered from having few social contacts this past year. At delaware, we care about everyone we work with, our customers and the environment we work in. Likewise, we want to make sure your job interview is handled in a professional way, while feeling as comfortable as possible. A successful job interview is one where you can be yourself, and see if there’s a match between you and our company. So how can you prepare yourself optimally when applying for a job in times of COVID-19?

What the heck does a consultant actually do? Every once in a while, all consultants get this question, and Delaware’s are no exception. An attempt to explain to our curious friends and family what we do generally creates even more confusion.  

And all of a sudden, there you are. Glad to be closing the school doors behind you, but at the same somewhat anxious about what will come.
