Kortrijk, 13 June 2017 – delaware, the leading business IT integrator with Belgian roots, is growing at a rapid pace and is therefore constantly looking to attract new talent. With the opening of its fifth Belgian office as of June 1, delaware will now also cover the Limburg region.

“We really believe in the power of the region: there are a lot of start-up activities and the quality of higher education in Limburg is excellent,” says Steven Coemans, Senior Corporate Talent Acquisition Specialist at delaware Belgium. “Being physically present in the region gives us the opportunity to attract talented professionals at both junior and senior levels. And it will also be a huge improvement for our current employees living in Limburg and the southern part of the Netherlands. We always strive to base our offices where our people live to help them achieve a good work-life balance.”

It is delaware’s policy to be close to its customers. “That’s a strength and something that is really appreciated by our customer base,” comments Patrick Andersen, CEO of delaware Belgium. “The customer is always central to us. This also includes our thought process when we select a new real estate location.”

The new office in Lummen will provide space for over 40 employees. The office is easily accessible, including being within easy reach of Leuven, thanks to its location close to the intersection of the E313 and E314 motorways (Klaverbladstraat 11). Besides Ghent and Lummen, delaware also has offices in Waver and Antwerp plus its headquarters in Kortrijk.

Today, delaware employs more than 1,500 professionals across 27 regional offices in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas and plans to recruit an additional 200 high-potentials and experienced consultants before the end of this year.
