From local to global: delaware welcomes its 3000th employee worldwide

From 124 #peopleofdelaware in Belgium in 2003 to 3000 people of delaware around the globe in 2021. It may seem like an impossible challenge to move from local to global at that steady pace, but delaware has consistently worked towards an international presence to service our customers even better. In October 2021, delaware welcomed its 3000th team member.

delaware has had a strong presence in China since 2005 onwards. It’s no surprise that Alex Wang, the 3000th colleague signing with delaware, is based in China. He explains there are several reasons for his decision to join: “First and foremost, delaware is an international company. We are doing several projects in the pharmacy industry, with high customer recognition for the work that we do. With these things in mind, I could easily tick most of the boxes of requirements I was looking for in a global employer.”

The company culture is one of the other aspects that makes delaware stand out, according to Alex: “I feel that the delaware company culture is young and energetic, and that the consultants have a lot of experience at the same time. This unique combination makes that the people of delaware and their achievements are highly appreciated, both in the projects and by the customers.”

For me, the main difference is that delaware is a company which combines globalization and localization.

In addition, there is a clear distinction between delaware and other consulting companies Alex has come across in his career: “For me, the main difference is that delaware is a company which combines globalization and localization. We do not only offer professional services to Chinese companies, but also to international customers.”

Having a strong international presence, which is exactly what delaware needs in order to cater to its customers, is more important than just having a growth in numbers.
