Junior ABAP Developer (m/f/d)

Founded in 1992, we are specializing in the implementation and further development of an SAP-based corporate solution for a variety of industries, with an emphasis on the printing and packaging industry. We offer our medium-sized and large customers worldwide a comprehensive, highly integrated business solution.

We are in growth mode and, therefore, are looking for the fastest possible entry of a Junior ABAP Developer (m/f/d).

What will be your field of action?

  • ABAP OO development in ERP 6.0 EHP8 on HANA (business logic, interfaces, SAP enhancements, forms)
  • Application development based on the "ABAP programming model for SAP Fiori".
  • Responsibility for the conception of design specifications and individual SAP software architectures

  • Observation of technological trends and innovations incl. evaluation of their application possibilities

  • Initiative design of development guidelines and selection of suitable design patterns

  • Support of the team in the extension of the existing template

  • Implementation of internal quality measures (e.g. unit tests, code reviews, documentation)

  • Maintenance and support of the developments (according to rolling planning in the team)

What are you bringing to the table?

  • Degree in computer science / business informatics, economics or a comparable qualification.
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language (ABAP, Java, JavaScript, C#, C++, ...)
  • Conversational German and English skills (B1/B2)
  • Ability to work in a team  
  • Analytical thinking and conceptual strength  
  • Strong communication skills  
  • Problem solving and goal orientation  
  • strong customer and service orientation  
  • ability to work independently and identify with the tasks at hand
  • Enjoyment of creative work and independent familiarization with new topics
