When it comes to recruitment, you don’t believe in standard approach. As every candidate is different, you make every effort to personalize the recruiting experience. Rather than fixating on a checklist, you take your time to really get to know your candidates. However, you also have a flair for sales. In other words, you’re value-driven first and target-driven second.

Who are we?

We are the HR team: a close-knit group of about 36 HR professionals. As we hire a wide range of profiles, every one of them requires a different approach in terms of recruitment. We take on a candidate-centered approach, yet leave room for our recruiters to develop their own style and broaden their interests: whether you’re a hunter or you’re more into employer branding – we welcome all kinds of creativity and enthusiasm. That’s why they have their own specialization and focus. And so will you!

You can find our team spread over the different delaware offices in Antwerp, Ghent, Kortrijk, Lummen, Liège or Wavre. We blend working from different locations! So, remote work is definitely possible, but we still like a personal touch. That’s why you will be working a few days a week in the office, ideally in Ghent.

What will you be doing?

You will be in charge of the recruitment of IT subcontractors. At delaware, it’s all about quality rather than quantity, which is also the case for the recruitment of our freelancers. After all, we’re responsible for the successful completion of projects. In other words, you will be focusing your efforts on finding freelance experts that ensure project success.

Specifically, you receive requests and requirements from various business units within delaware – from project managers over solution leads to team leads. Your curiosity and interest in IT and technology will enable you to quickly grasp what profile they’re looking for. Hence, you build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and function as a reliable business partner.

Subsequently, you source the best candidate for the job and negotiate based on our existing contract templates and processes, bearing in mind that we always strive for win-win situations rather than being driven by profit alone. You regularly and proactively provide follow-up to ensure mutual expectations are met.

Is there a match?

Let’s see. If you…

  • have at least 5 years’ experience as an IT recruiter, preferably for subcontractors.
  • have a strong affinity for all things IT and technology. As such, you’re able to understand and explain IT-related job requirements.
  • can work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and expertly manage a busy schedule, even if that means saying no from time to time. We’re all team players here, so just tell us if you need a hand.
  • like taking the lead in recruitment projects and manage the stakeholders. It takes guts to challenge the business, but it’s essential that we do so when we need to.
  • combine excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong organizational skills.
  • speak English fluently and have a good command of Dutch or French.
