Even if you're just starting out in the field of L&D, your passion and eagerness to dive into this works of learning and development could be exactly what we're looking for. 

Who are we?

We are the delaware Learning & Development team. Our ultimate goal is to empower the #peopleofdelaware to become the best possible version of themselves: to grow and develop so they can offer our customers the best solutions. People really are our greatest assets, so we feel it’s incredibly important to offer them the right tools, training and education to help them advance in their careers.

We aspire to make a lasting impact. We continuously evaluate and optimize: what’s the effect and value of our learning initiatives? Are they in line with our vision on learning? Do we see the desired changes in our employees’ behavior? How can we increase ownership with the learners and involvement of their leadership? 

We have great plans for the future of learning & development. It obviously takes time and a critical eye to capture (and answer!) the learning needs of our employees, so an experienced Learning & Development Specialist like yourself is what we are looking for!

What will you be doing?

  • You will help shape (some of) our famous ‘bootcamps’: multi-day training programs for the different levels in our organization (Analysts, Consultants, Managers …).
  • You will be the content owner of some of our offerings. As content owner, you are in close contact with the internal or external trainer(s), you follow-up on feedback, take the lead in optimization tracks, co-create new content, … ;
  • You will liaise with different stakeholders within our organization to: analyse development needs, set up new learning initiatives, define learning objectives, offer advice … ;
  • You will stay up to date on learning and development and share your expertise within the company and with your team members.  

Is there a match?

  • have built up expertise in a learning & development environment OR if you are ready to become a learning expert.
  • can grasp the underlying purpose of various training request and can advice on the most impactful learning solution.
  • can estimate whether a training is relevant for the intended audience and comes at the right time in their career.
  • have strong organizational skills and communication skills.
  • have previously worked with SuccessFactors Learning or Flowsparks that’s a plus (not a must, though). An interest in technology will certainly help you feel at home in our industry. 
  • have a growth mindset
  • fluently speak and write English and Dutch or French
