What will you be doing?

  • As an EX consultant, you dive into your customer’s current business goals and assess employee experience pain points.
  • Together with your colleagues, you hold employee interviews and collect data via self-assessments and surveys. That’s how we define the moments that matter.
  • Through a series of joint workshops, you co-create along with your customers optimal experiences, both in the full employee lifecycle as in the daily work life of employees.
  • Through inspiration sessions and creative process mapping, you list possible solutions and map opportunities for improvement.
  • You liaise with other teams within delaware and at the customer’s to properly estimate the potential impact and workload. In other words, what is doable within which timeframe?
  • Next, you realistically prioritize the opportunities into tangible projects
  •  All of this, you bring together in the EX roadmap: a 1 to 2 year plan, comprising governance, change management, IT, processes, budgeting and more.
  • Of course, you also manage your projects and assist in presales when needed.
  • And as EX is still relatively new, you’re keen to chip in your ideas on how we can further enrich our EX approach.

Is there a match?

Let's see.

  • You have a strong affinity with the employee experience and all things people
  • You’re empathic and capable of putting yourself in the shoes of different roles, from the factory floor to the C-suite, in different types of industries.
  • You have a good deal of business savviness and a broad interest in how employees get their job done.
  • You’re quick to understand the complexities faced by organizations and the teams and people within it.
  • You are creative with an inquisitive mindset: you don’t just assess current complex situations, you can also imagine how things could be better in future.
  • You have a holistic view on HR and understand its strategic role.
  • Next to being a real people person (a good listener), you’re also very interested in all things digital.
  • You’re no stranger to talking and dealing with IT people and departments.
  • Some experience in facilitating workshops and design thinking are a definite plus.
  • You have consultancy skills, are analytical as well as entrepreneurial.
  • Additional bonus points can be won for having experience in 1) (pre-)sales, 2) change management and 3) senior stakeholder management and dealing with the C-level suite.
  • You’re an overall strong communicator who speaks fluent English and who has a working proficiency in Dutch or French.
  • Ideally, you’ve been at work for 5 years or more in a role that in some form or another relates to the employee experience. A solid HR background is a perfect starting point, but change management, internal communication, a broad IT role… are also strong foundations for an EX consultant.

Don’t worry, we know asking all of this of one person is a stretch. But if you can already check a good deal of these boxes, then you may be the EX Consultant we’re looking for!
