We don’t want to make reporting more complex than it needs to be. Then you may be the Business Intelligence Specialist we’re looking for!

Despite being scattered across different departments and locations, the delaware support team is a close-knit community of more than 100 people. We provide delaware with locally-based support in an international context. We are a high-impact team and act as a sparring partner of the business.
Not only do we enable the work that our business units do, our suggestions and initiatives to improve delaware’s way of working are highly valued as well. As the delaware business landscape continues to grow, so does our support team. Within this tight community, the management assistants offer their administrative experience to the delaware partners and act as the supporting right hand of these executives.
Just so you know: delaware has its offices in Antwerp, Ghent, Kortrijk, Lummen, Liège and Wavre, but the headquarters of the support team are located in Kortrijk. You normally work most of the time from one of our offices (during lockdown you are able to work fulltime from home), while also enjoying all the benefits of working in an international consultancy firm (e.g. flexible hours, working from home, challenging assignments and room to grow in your function).
You’re a passionate and critical process thinker with an eye for the user experience – someone who thinks first and acts later. You know exactly how to find gaps, spot domains that are not optimally aligned or detect mistakes that are being overlooked, in any business process - no matter how small.
You dare to question our organization’s business processes, data models and application landscape, mapping out “what do we have” to “what do we need” in detail, before actual projects kick off - to save development teams from trouble down the road. Because problems will arise – but it’s your responsibility to guard any project scope that optimizes our internal business processes. You understand data models and IT landscapes can be complex, but it’s vital for an organization’s business-critical applications and data models to be continually aligned.
Your structured and logical way of reasoning, combined with your persuasion power and communication skills to make process improvements a reality, make you an expert in the Enterprise Architecture field.
You are convinced - as we are - that a solid incident response strategy is key as cyber-attacks on companies are happening increasingly frequently.
You are familiar with setting up incident response playbooks and are the go-to person when it comes to incident response and handling methodologies. Basically, when an IT security event occurs, you know what to do.
You are a communicative team player who doesn’t shy away for coordinating colleagues. After all, you’ll be the one your team members look to when defining an effective response strategy.
You manage to keep calm and coordinated in stressful situations. You are the steady hand who shows others how to deal with an incident.
You’re an experienced IT project manager and a bit of a juggler. You can keep an overview of ongoing projects and make sure they get delivered within time and budget (as best as you can, that is… It’s still IT, right? ##).
You are the linchpin who connects all project components, from analysis to architecture design, from planning to development, from testing to Go Live and everything in between. Your planning capabilities are impeccable.
You’re a great communicator, who can build bridges between the business, support teams and the project teams. Are you ready to take delaware’s internal IT to new heights?
Are you convinced - as we are - that IT security is only getting more important as the world outside is only getting less safe?
Are you passionate about developing companywide security projects, processes and standards? You're the kind of bridgebuilder who liaises with different teams and departments as well as vendors to continuously assess new threats, develop security alerts, recommend remedial actions and manage and respond to requests and security incidents?
Are you up for the challenge to keep all #peopleofdelaware, our customers, our systems and applications safe?
