2009 SAP Collaboration Award

Kortrijk (Belgium), 17 December 2009 End 2009, SAP Belgium/Luxembourg decided to replace its annual Partner Awards by the SAP Collaboration Awards. While the Partner Awards rewarded partners for one specific achievement, the new Award honors SAP partners that have successfully collaborated with SAP in the past year, by demonstrating leadership in a combination of different criteria.
The basic question for SAP to determine the winners was: “How did the partner help grow SAP’s business?”:
  • by creating new customers: obviously this is the key measure to define growth in the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) business.
  • by extending the SAP solution footprint within the installed customer base: investing in new, strategic solutions like Business User and CFO, NetWeaver Innovation and Sustainability solutions… and positioning these to its customers. This means investing in demo systems, knowledge and the training of consultants.
  • by developing new markets and new industry sectors
  • by creating satisfied reference customers through high-quality implementation projects

The 2009 Collaboration Award for Channel Partners went to Delaware Consulting! Here is how SAP justified its selection:

“According to its yearly track record, this All-in-One Channel partner is the top contributor to SAP’s SME business, in terms of indirect SAP revenue (> € 1m.) and winning new customers.

But there are more good reasons to recognize Delaware for its 2009 performance. By integrating the SAP Business Objects platform on top of ERP they have set the standards for Business Intelligence in SME (with Lotus Bakeries as a reference).

Besides strong collaboration in sales and marketing through joint territory and marketing planning, Delaware is very instrumental in presales activities for Enterprise Content Management solutions by OpenText.”
