Senior Change Management Consultant

OUR VISION & OUR STORY

Doing the right things the right way gives you a head-start. That’s why change management begins by asking organisations ‘what’s right for you?’ Once all agree, it’s about defining ‘the right way to actually do this’.

If you’re great at asking your customers the right questions when it comes to digital and IT transformation, then you may have what it takes to be a delaware Senior Change Management Consultant. Are you up for the challenge of greatly expanding our change offering and building our team’s change expertise?

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AS A SENIOR CHANGE MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT AT DELAWARE?

Organisations in the middle of digital and IT transformation increasingly see the need to better support their staff in adopting change. At delaware, we already have a team of 12 change communication consultants and 2 change management consultants. We’re now looking to extend our digital and IT change footprint. That’s where you as an experienced change manager come in.

Thinking, selling and doing all come together in this role. We really need you to:

  1. Think about our change management offering and develop an appropriate go-to-market strategy.

  2. Sell the offering you’ve co-developed with your colleagues.

  3. Do projects yourself and coach your change colleagues in becoming even greater change management experts.

Sounds like a lot? That’s because it is. In some more detail, this entails…

  • Developing a change approach that helps organizations and their employees to quickly adopt changes. You’ll use your change expertise and knowledge of different models to come up with a tangible change approach that can become all our own. You do so along with the business unit manager and the change colleagues.

  • You liaise with a wide variety of customers and organizations to sell our offering to. You’re able to make a connection quickly and distil your prospect’s challenge into a concrete change proposal. Some prospective contacts, you’ll develop on your own. Many others will come through the ranks of the delaware organization.

  • You’re not just a thinker or seller, you’re also a doer who works on concrete change projects:

    • As a senior consultant, you liaise with the different stakeholders on a daily basis. You’re at their site multiple times throughout the week.

    • You run different types of workshops to quickly gain a solid understanding of your customer’s challenges and opportunities.

    • You use different management concepts and strategic frameworks to challenge your customers.

    • You steer forward the change team, liaise closely with the overall project teams, and measure impact where- and whenever you can.

    • You enjoy working on large change projects, either alone or in team, and you thrive when you’re able to coach your change colleagues on the job.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BECOME A DELAWARE CHANGE MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT?

  • You have a solid knowledge of change management and change communication and have applied this in practice. Having a PROSCI certification is a distinct plus.

  • You’re used to running workshops and are familiar with workshop facilitation techniques.

  • You’re an experienced project and program manager. Holding some certificates (PRINCE2, PMI PMBoK) is a plus, not a must.

  • You’re no stranger to selling change projects to customers.

  • You combine a sound knowledge of IT management and ICT with more general management concepts (e.g. organization design, various strategic frameworks…). You also have some team management or people coaching experience.

  • You have a keen interest in digital transformation trends and understand the challenges companies face.

  • You are diplomatic by nature and can convert theoretical concepts into tangible practices.

  • You’re a natural born consultant: flexible and able to take your customer to the next level.

  • You communicate fluently in English, Dutch and French, both verbally and in writing.
