Meet the delaware marketing team – a bunch of creative, outgoing, and committed marketing & communication professionals united in a single goal: to provide delaware with the best marketing communication activities, campaigns, and events, both for our customers and our colleagues.

Up until a few years ago, we used to jokingly say “delaware is world-famous… in West-Flanders!”. But then we launched an ambitious growth plan – our Go-to-South campaign – to expand our footprint in the French-speaking part of Belgium. As our presence in Wallonia continues to grow, so too should our marketing team. And that’s where you come in!

Are you a French-speaking administrative all-rounder who loves juggling invoices as well as writing compelling web copy? Then maybe you’re just the Marketing Communication Assistant we’re looking for!

What will you be doing as a Marketing Communication Assistant?

Your to-do list can be divided into two main activities.

1. On the one hand, you’ll be responsible for all administrative tasks within the marketing team.

  •  You’ll track invoices, keep an eye on the budget, follow up on purchase orders, etc.

2. On the other hand, you’ll focus on all kinds of communication assignments (in French!) to support your colleague Stéphanie at our office in Wavre.

  • This means you’ll not only create invites for our events and write copy for our social media channels, but you’ll also spell-check and validate texts for our website. Ready, set,…write.
  • You’ll update the delaware BeLux website, making sure events and blogs get the attention they deserve, both within delaware and among our customers.  

delaware has offices in Gent, Antwerpen, Wavre, Kortrijk and Lummen. As a Marketing Communication Assistant you’ll mostly work at the Wavre office, but once a week you’ll meet up with all of your colleagues in Kortrijk.

Do you have what it takes to become a delaware Marketing Communication Assistant?

Ideally, you’re an experienced marketeer with a talent for administrative work, or alternatively an administrative pro who wants to give marketing a try. With us, you’ll get to do both!

  • Do you have at least 3 years of experience in a marketing or communication position?
  • Do you have a bachelor’s degree in either communication or marketing?
  • Can you provide the entire marketing team with administrative support and work in a well-organized, reliable and structured way?
  • How would you rate your writing skills? You’ll manage our website and help set up e-mail marketing campaigns. Flawless spelling and a keen eye for detail are a must!
  • Would you say you have a strong affinity for all things IT and digital? As you’ll be working in an IT environment, you’ll need to get to grips with technology-related topics.
  • Can you plan your work autonomously? Combine multiple projects and prioritize like a champion?
  • Are you a native French speaker who is also competent in English or Dutch (written and spoken)?
  • Will you be super reliable, super accurate, and super consistent – but never boring? Then you’ll fit right in!
